Ghost Sine with Christopher Short

Virtual reality, augmented reality, lasers, and more combine in Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Teknopolis installation in New York City. The Ghost Sine installation from our friend and mixed-media laser artist Christopher Short is an interactive display using a custom ultraviolet Skywriter M series laser. The display allows the user to examine the relationship between shapes, rotation, scale, and spacing to easily create mesmerizing patterns.

Christopher is a strong believer that technology is for everyone, and Ghost Sine is no exception. Its interface is simple and easy to use to allow anyone to engage with it and create fantastic abstracts.

Teknopolis 2020 was open from February 22 to March 8 at BAM Fisher in Brooklyn, New York.
