We sent our resident lighting designer, Gabby, to Super MAGFest 2025 to capture some media and share her experience seeing our lasers in action at the festival. Keep reading to get the firsthand story and see the highlights from the show!

“Have you ever seen a laser inside a fishtank?” is a question so seemingly far-fetched that it would only border on making sense in a place like Las Vegas. And at our LDI 2024 booth, we gave attendees the opportunity to answer that question with a perhaps-still-awestruck, “Yes." A common test for any professional LD is to create an impactful show no matter the size of the venue. Whether a small club or massive stadium, effective lighting energizes the audience, expresses the band’s artistry and empowers the designer to use all the tools in their creative arsenal. Empowered by X-Laser fixtures and Mercury Laser Control firmware, designer Ben Jarrett of Squeek Lights in Sayreville, N.J., checked all of those boxes and then some with his design for metalcore band Beartooth on its 2024 North American Tour.
