Join us for Lasers Live! Our guest this time is Chris Short, one of the creators of the Radiator. The Radiator is a compact yet feature rich laser synthesizer designed and built by an expert team of hardware designers and artists. Their kickstarter met their funding goal in only 9 days and shows no signs of slowing down as they work to bring abstract laser art to a new generation of artists. We'll be talking with Chris about Radiator, how the project developed and where it's headed now that they've met their funding goals, a Q&A session and of course he's going to make some beautiful laser art for us to enjoy, live!

We are super excited to share with you a project that some friends of X-Laser have been working on for a while. An innovative and exciting new form of laser analog synth controller, now available to pre-order on Kickstarter! Radiator aims to bring back the live performance aspect to laser shows and once again make the job of Laserist synonymous with performance artist.

Our friends at Integrity Lighting are using their Skywriter HPX M-10 lasers to help bring the light to The Assembly at Broken Arrow! Great work by Josh Hall and the rest of the Integrity team!

It’s #MAGFEST time! MAGFest is a music and gaming festival right in X-Laser’s backyard. It’s an incredibly fun event for anyone into gaming of all kinds. This year our friends at Nomad Event Systems are providing lasers and lighting for the main stage with the very talented Christof Krztov running the 4 Skywriter HPX M-5 lasers from Pangolin’s Beyond. 

Smooth, ethereal, otherworldly looking aurora effects are rarely seen, but can be incredibly moving. We go a little into the history of these “Lumia” effects, how they’re made and how you can create your own with a laser and a trip to the hardware store.

Fall is here and with it comes our Fall Mercury update! This is a FREE update for all Mercury users. Update includes:-2 more basic builders for 6 total-Streaming ACN support-Auto Source detection-Streamlined user interface-Added “Simple” mode to allow you to patch the laser without a master-General performance and reliability improvements
